Taekwon-Do technical workshop was held at the Taekwon-Do Hall in Pyongyang between 22nd and 24th on the occasion of the 55th founding anniversary of the International Taekwon-Do Federation.
Present there were the Chairman of the Games Committee of the ITF, officials of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, players and coaches of the Taekwon-Do Team and members of the Group of Taekwon-Do Instructors.
The workshop held with the method of showing the demonstrations dealt with the technical problems on fundamental movements, patterns and sparring of Taekwon-Do, an orthodox martial arts symbolizing the mettle and valor of the Korean nation.
Exchanged in the workshop were opinions arising in correctly ensuring the diverse striking movements organically combined with the offense and defence and further developing the Taekwon-Do technique.
During the workshop, the executive members of the ITF, officials of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee and those of the Group of Taekwon-Do Instructors visited the tomb of Choe Hong Hui, former President of the ITF, at the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and the Taekwon-Do Holly House.
