I extend congratulations to you and your friendly government and people on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the Correction Movement in Syria.
The Correction Movement was a historic event of great significance in the protracted struggle of your people to build independent and prospering Syria.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I extend solidarity to the Syrian people in their struggle for defending sovereignty and territorial integrity and express the belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between our two countries would be further strengthened and developed.
