Video: Schoolchildren’s Palace Renovated

The 250-mile Journey for Learning Schoolchildren’s Palace was remodeled in the DPRK.

The palace, located on the picturesque bank of Jangja River in Kanggye City of Jagang Province, has 20-odd rooms for hobby groups, a gymnasium and all other conditions and environment necessary for the education of students.

Present at its inaugural ceremony on Sunday were Kim Jang Won, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders and teaching staff and hobby group members of the palace.

A speech was made at the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round various places of the palace.
