Changdok School in Pyongyang, the alma mater of President Kim Il Sung, is today a well-equipped school priding itself on its gifted students studying to become scientific and technical personnel. It has multi-functional classrooms and labs for IT, physics, chemistry, and biology.
The school also has a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and table tennis, a swimming pool, and rooms specialized for language and driving learning. For the students there is a modern dormitory and canteen, and a school yard with a football field and basketball court.
