A rally of agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea was held at the education yard before the bronze statue of the great leader Kim Il Sung in Chongsan-ri, Kangso District of Nampho City, on the 18th to thoroughly carry out the tasks of the first year under the five-year plan set forth at the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Present there were Ri Il Hwan, Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers and members of the Union in Kangso District.
Speeches were made by Han Jong Hyok, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, and others.
The speakers said the report delivered by the respected Kim Jong Un at the Second Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee is a vital document full of spirit of selfless and devoted efforts for the good of the people and infinite revolutionary and enterprising character and a militant banner encouraging the whole Party and all people to the implementation of the decisions of the Eighth Party Congress.
They ardently called on all to devotedly implement the important tasks set forth at the Second Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee by fully discharging their responsibility and duty as agricultural workers in the first-year farming of the five-year plan.
A letter of pledge to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the rally.
