Spotlight: Kim Il Sung Square

Kim Il Sung Square is located in central Pyongyang. It was built in August 1954 and facelifted in 1986. As the central square of the country, there take place military parades, celebration soirees, mass demonstrations, and other functions on national holidays and major occasions.
