First snowfall has been witnessed in the capital city of Pyongyang.
Over 5 centimeters of snow fell in most areas south of the central part of the DPRK, due to low atmospheric pressure moving southeast from the center of the West Sea of Korea.
Experts said that the first snow was the latest start of snowing since meteorological observation began.
In particular, the first snowfall in Pyongyang was 29 days later than that of the normal year (November 14), and 13 days later than in 2019 (November 30).
