The Places He Visited First on the New Year’s Day

On January 1, Juche 104 (2015), when the whole country was in a festive mood, greeting the New Year, the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un called on the children of the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage.

He said with affection that he wished a brighter future to the pretty children across the country in his New Year address, when he wanted to see the children all the more.

Wherever he went, the children threw themselves into his arms, calling him “fatherly Marshal” and “father”.

Looking at the children with his affectionate eyes, Kim Jong Un said: All the children look plump, bright and lively. They are all clever. I am very pleased to see the orphans longing for the parental affection celebrate the New Year’s Day joyfully.

Time passed by but he appreciated the New Year performance given by the children.

The children danced and sang as if they were standing in front of their father and Kim Jong Un clapped his hands before others.

They made a bow to him; “Thank you, fatherly Marshal!”, saying at the top of their voices that the new palatial house provided by him is really good.

That day, Kim Jong Un said: When the laughter of our children without any shade is louder, the whole country will become bright. The laughter of the children and the song “We Are the Happiest in the World” will be louder on this land where we are making a revolution.

When the laughter of the children is louder, the whole country will become bright. That is why Kim Jong Un called at the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage first on the New Year’s Day.
