Anecdotes

Precious Treasure

In May Juche 105 (2016) the then Sungni Motor Complex produced a five-ton lorry of new type on the occasion of the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Looking at the lorry, the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un praised that it had been made well and it is a proud fruition of self-reliance. And he also set a goal of production for Juche 106 (2017).

The officials and workers of the complex finished the general assembly of the lorries with their own strength and technology and made their running test with success.

One day in November Juche 106 (2017), Kim Jong Un visited the then Sungni Motor Complex.

Looking at the lorries filling the wide parking lot, he said with pleasure that they are the lorries of Juche Korea made by Korean workers who rose up, believing in their strength.

He got in a lorry and drove it in person to learn about its performance and technical specifications.

He said the starting sound of the lorry is smooth, the gearbox is well operated and the condition of its engine is excellent and our lorries will run like the wind at the sites of building a powerful socialist country.

Saying the five-ton lorries of Korean style are smart and they are a precious treasure, he highly estimated the feats of the workers of the complex.

That day, in consideration of the desire of the workers who want to have a photo taken with him, he waited for a long time until all of them gathered.

Keeping his trust deep in their hearts, the officials and workers of the complex are making innovations in the lorry production to greet the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea with brilliant labor successes.
