All the people across the DPRK celebrated the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) as their genuine holiday.
An endless stream of visitors flew to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state.
At the park in the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun the masses paid homage to the portraits of the smiling peerlessly great men.
Officials, working people and servicepersons paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill and in all other parts of the country and portraits of the smiling leaders.
They laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers at the statues and portraits of the smiling great leaders and bowed to them.
Ardent reverence for the peerlessly great men pervaded the venues of photo exhibitions in the capital city and all provinces.
Performances were given in different places including South and North Hwanghae provinces and South Hamgyong and Kangwon provinces.
Celebration meetings and oratorical meetings were held by working people from all walks of life in different places on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the WPK.
Youth and students and women’s union members across the country represented the sea of dancers, revving up the atmosphere.
Pyongyang garbed in festive attire and public catering establishment offered holiday service.
The Pyongyang Taedonggang Beer Fest heated up the festive mood.
The Pyongyangites felt very grateful to the Party Central Committee while being served various kinds of nutritious dishes and folk dishes including sturgeon dish, terrapin dish, eel dish and ostrich steak at restaurants built in different places of the city including Okryu Restaurant, Chongryu Restaurant and the Pyongyang Taedonggang Seafood Restaurant.
Laughter of happy people were full of public catering establishments in different provincial seats, including Kyongam Restaurant in Sariwon, Okgye Restaurant in Haeju and Sinhung Restaurant in Hamhung.
