Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings and Floral Basket from Palestinian President

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), received a message of greeting from Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, on Saturday.

The Palestinian president in the message extended the warmest congratulations from the bottom of his heart to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un on behalf of the state and the people of Palestine and on his own behalf on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the friendly WPK, wishing the DPRK, the Korean people, the leadership, officials and members of the stout-hearted WPK constant progress and success.

The president said they, availing themselves of the glorious opportunity, highly appreciated the historical role of the WPK extending firm support and solidarity to the peoples struggling for freedom and independence, and to the Palestinian people fighting in the van of them for freedom, independence and sovereignty of the Palestinian territory with east Kuds as its capital.

He added they believed that the WPK would continuously support the Palestinian people’s struggle for realizing the noble object.

He, wishing Kim Jong Un good health and happiness, hoped that the historical friendly relations between the two countries and peoples would further be strengthened and the WPK achieve greater prosperity.

Leader Kim Jong Un also received a floral basket from the Palestinian president.

The Palestinian ambassador to the DPRK handed the floral basket over to an official concerned.
