Spotlight: Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace

The Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace on Kwangbok Street in Pyongyang is a comprehensive base for extra-curricular activities. The 214,000m² edifice completed in 1989 and renovated in 2015 has over 140 rooms including a modern swimming pool, gymnasium, and a 1,400 seat theatre.
