The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a message of greetings to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and the President of the Republic of Cuba.
The message reads:
Havana
Raul Castro Ruz
First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba
Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez
President of the Republic of Cuba
I extend warm comradely greetings to the Esteemed First Secretary and President and the friendly Cuban Party, government and people on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Republic of Cuba.
The peoples of our two countries have invariably defended, consolidated and developed the precious tradition of friendship, solidarity and cooperation provided by the great leaders of the revolutions of the two countries despite the complex international situation and all challenges of the hostile forces over the past 60 years.
I am sure that the strategic and comradely relations of friendship and cooperation between our two countries would further develop on the road of joint struggle for anti-imperialist independence and socialism in the future.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I send full support to the just struggle of the Cuban people to firmly defend the gains of revolution and advance the socialist cause victoriously and sincerely wish the First Secretary and the President greater successes in their responsible work.
Kim Jong Un
Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea
