Fireworks were displayed in Pyongyang on Monday, the 67th anniversary of the Korean people’s victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
Lots of people gathered in different parts of the capital city near the Tower of the Juche Idea, including Okryu Bridge and Taedonggang Bridge, to watch the fireworks.
At 21:00 fireworks were shot off to form a five-pointed star as token of tribute of people to the victors of the great years in the sky above the Tower of the Juche Idea amid the playing of “Song of National Defence”.
The display of gorgeous multicolor fireworks seemed to represent the deep reverence of the people for President Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander who provided the history and tradition of eternal victory of heroic Korea by wisely leading the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.
Fireworks of various shapes and colors were displayed in the nocturnal sky.
Fireworks were set off in succession to the tune of the songs “Holiday of Great War Victory” and “We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives”, revving up the festive mood.
