Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, member of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.
Looking round the site where a large oxygen separator is being fixed, he stressed once again the importance of the project in perfecting the foundation for production, calling for properly manufacturing and assembling structures in line with the technical requirements and modernizing all production processes with home-made technologies and locally available materials.
At the steel shop he discussed technical issues arising in operating furnace as required by standard regulations, and in fully ensuring the tapping temperature.
At the field consultative meeting he took measures to quickly set up the large oxygen separator, increase the operation rate of the electric furnace and boost steel production by providing the complex with raw materials in time.
At the Songrim Port he called for strictly guarding against inattention, onlooking and chronic attitude and further toughening anti-epidemic measures, learning in detail about the emergency anti-epidemic work against the inroads of the malignant virus.
