Video: Taesongsan Heritage Management Office

The Taesongsan Heritage Management Office pays deep attention to the preservation of historical relics with the month for protection of national heritages as an occasion.

It is tending well lawn and flower shrubs to add beauty to Mt Taesong in spring.

Choe Yong Bom, an official of the office, said that President Kim Il Sung visited the Sasum (deer) Pond on June 1, Juche 52 (1963) and gave a precious instruction to widely inform the people of a legend about the pond handed down from the period of Koguryo Kingdom (B.C. 277-A.D. 668).

The office has contributed to glorifying the national heritage conservation policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea by meticulously working on the management of relics in accordance with the principle of historicism.
