In December Juche 108 (2019) the respected supreme leader Kim Jong Un made his way through virgin snow to visit the revolutionary battle sites of the Paektu together with officials.

He said: Though the nature changes and one generation is replaced with another with the lapse of time, there is no change in the imposing looks of Mt. Paektu. Each time I come here, I feel a new zeal for revolution and struggle and harden a fresh will.

The Paektu Plateau is a grand open-air revolution museum full of treasures of revolution of great significance in the education in revolutionary traditions. Further strengthening the education in revolutionary traditions is a strategic task of our revolution at present.

Now the new generations constitute the main force of the Korean revolution. We should educate them to have such lofty ideological and moral qualities and strong fighting spirit as those of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners. It is an important target the Workers’ Party of Korea is consistently maintaining in bringing up the reserves of the revolution.

Leaving his sacred traces in the revolutionary battle sites of the Paektu, Kim Jong Un wisely led the people to defend and apply forever the revolutionary traditions of the Paektu, the precious spiritual treasure of the Korean nation.
