Window Blinds in Electronic Recreation Hall

An electronic recreation hall is found at the Rungna People’s Pleasure Ground on the Rungna Islet in the capital Pyongyang.

It has equipment for playing tens of electronic games such as hunting, motorcycle race, tank battle, snowboarding, boat race and horse riding.

Once in the hall, adults as well as children are absorbed in interesting games.

The recreation hall is associated with the warm love of the respected supreme leader Kim Jong Un for the people.

One day in September Juche 102 (2013), he visited the hall shortly after its opening.

He was pleased to look at the amusement facilities one by one and instructed on giving a good explanation of how to use them.

Then, he saw windows on the wall with sunshine.

Choe Song Hui, Work-team Head at the electronic recreation hall of the Rungna People’s Pleasure Ground, says: “As you see, our recreation hall is standing southward and the sun shines through the windows on the front and back walls.

Looking at the windows with direct sunshine, Kim Jong Un said that it may disturb people playing games while seeing electronic displays.

Even the visitors to the recreation hall and its employees had not paid attention to it.

They were satisfied at the hall with bright sunshine, but never thought of its influence on the games.

Kim Jong Un, however, immediately found out the trouble to be caused by sunshine to the people and called for taking relevant measures.”

That was how the blinds were installed on the windows of the electronic recreation hall.

All other places of the Rungna People’s Pleasure Ground are associated with the loving care of Kim Jong Un for the people.
