DPRK Premier Inspects Various Fields of National Economy

Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, member of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected Sunchon Cement Complex and Chongchongang-Phyongnam irrigation waterway project site.

He looked around the burning system of the factory and encouraged the workers who are making innovations in production in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fighting spirit in response to the call of the Workers’ Party of Korea for an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on.

The field consultative meeting discussed issues of increasing production capacity and fully supplying cement necessary for important construction including Pyongyang General Hospital.

The premier also visited the dam of Chongchongang-Phyongnam irrigation waterway under construction and the project site of laying siphon in Namchongang, etc. where he stressed the need to conduct active technological innovation movement to increase the rate of the use of construction equipment and tools and ensure the quality of construction at the highest level. He also called for paying deep attention to the supply service for the shock brigade members.

He took measures for improving the field command of the projects in a revolutionary way and ensuring the supply of the materials including cement and steel. He pressed for measures for the timely production of custom-built equipment by relevant units.

He also made a field survey of the Saenal Electric Appliances Factory.
