The Korean young people are fully displaying their wisdom and valour on all fronts of building a powerful socialist country.

Whenever opportunity permitted, the respected supreme leader Kim Jong Un let them lead the times and highly appreciated their achievements.

The construction of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station in northern Korea was a difficult and huge project in which they should overcome unfavourable physiographical conditions.

Korean young people, however, powerfully promoted the project, braving severe trials and difficulties.

Kim Jong Un called at the power station nearing completion and highly estimated their feats, proudly saying: It is a myth that can be created only by the Korean youth educated and trained under the care of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Our young people are all heroes. The height of the dam cannot be measured by meters as it has been built by the idea and spirit of our youngsters. The height of the dam of Unit 1 of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station is that of patriotism of our young people and that of a youth power.

When the power station was completed, he took part in the inaugural ceremony and made a speech in congratulation of the young builders.

In his speech, he warmly said: It is a great victory incomparable to obtaining millions of kilowatts of electricity that a large contingent of dauntless champions has been trained. As we have such an army of young people, our Party is powerful and our country is widely recognized as a youth power only in the world.

The Korean young people will devote their patriotism to the building of a powerful socialist country in the future, too, keeping the trust and love of Kim Jong Un deep in their hearts.
