The gift–copper sculpture “Chaka, Chief of the Zulu”–was presented to the respected supreme leader Kim Jong Un by the Chairman of the South African Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism on April 14, Juche 103(2014).
Chaka, Chief of the Zulu, was a well-known military strategist in the 19th century and is said to be a pride of South Africa as he displayed bravery in battles against the enemy.
The cloth mat under the craftwork was made by a famous embroiderer in South Africa.
The yellow of the mat means the rays of the sun and the elephant mightiness.
