Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders on V-Day

Servicepersons and civilians of the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il across the country to pay homage on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Seen standing before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill was a floral basket from the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Floral baskets in the names of party, armed forces and power organs, social bodies, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, various organs, enterprises, factories and schools in Pyongyang and bouquets were laid before the statues.

The participants paid tribute to the statues.

Also, floral baskets in the names of units of KPA and KPISF, institutions, enterprises, etc. as well as bouquets and flowers were laid before the great leaders’ statues in various parts of Pyongyang including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of People’s Security and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Meanwhile, servicepersons, working people and school youth and children across the country visited the statues and mosaics depicting the great leaders’ smiling images in their residential quarters to pay high tribute to them.
