Art Squads of Working People’s Bodies Give Performances

Art squads of working people’s organizations gave performances Wednesday on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The art squad of the Central Committee of the Youth League gave its performance at the Central Youth Hall, the workers’ art group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) at the Central Hall of Workers, and the art squad of the C.C. Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea at the hall of culture in Kangso District, Nampho City.

Performers sang loudly of the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung, who performed miracles unprecedented in the world history of wars with his Juche-based military idea and outstanding strategy and tactics, through female solo and chorus “Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung”, dialogic poem “The Feats for War Victory Will Remain Forever” and other numbers.

The numbers included male chorus “Song of National Defence”, male solo “My Song in the Trench” and female solo “Song of Mother” showing the burning patriotism of the victors in the great years who readily devoted their youth and lives to the victory in the war in the front and rear in hearty response to the call of the President.

Among the audience were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Ri Il Hwan, department director of the C.C., WPK, Pak Chol Min, first secretary of the C.C., the Youth League, Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, Ryo Hye Jong, vice-chairperson of the C.C., Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, and officials concerned and officials of the above-said organizations, teaching staff and pupils of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, youth and students, workers and agricultural workers.
