Party and Government Officials Celebrate May Day with Workers

Senior party and government officials of the DPRK celebrated the May Day with working people across the country Tuesday.

They went to institutions, industrial establishments, construction sites and farms to congratulate workers, agricultural workers and intellectuals greeting the holiday.

Among those officials were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, party and government senior officials Pak Kwang Ho, Kim Phyong Hae and Thae Jong Su and vice-premiers, and officials of the party and power organs.

They placed floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and portraits depicting their smiling images and mosaics depicting their images, and paid tribute to them.

They went round the revolutionary museums showing the hard efforts and leadership exploits of the peerlessly great men built at those units and the rooms dedicated to their history.

The senior party and government officials met innovators and gave pep-talk to them.

They joined the working people doing colorful sports and entertainment games including tug-of-war and enjoyed art performances.

They called for remaining loyal to the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and strikingly displaying the heroic stamina and mettle of the workers of Juche Korea in the present grand revolutionary march.
